The institution has a long way to go and many promises to keep. Being an institute of advanced study in education, it has promised to provide and to develop itself into a model institute. It is also planning to organize hostel facilities for the students, self financial courses like D. Ed. , M.Ed. and B.P. Ed. in near future.

The new College (Basirhat Mahabodhi College of Education) which is going to establish is in Basirhat subdivision. Apart from this new college there is no B.Ed college in this subdivision. Other two nearest B.Ed College are New Baracpore B.Ed College and Madhyam Gram B.Ed College which are situated about 50 km from where ten thousand students are obtaining Bachelour degrees every years. They do not get any opportunity for their B.Ed degree in Basirhat Subdivision. They have to go a long distance for their B.Ed degree. It is pertinent to mention here that a large number of students belonging to O.B.C, S.C, S.T categories will be benefited from the establishment of this new B.Ed College. Moreover, the said new college is will communicated such as 1.5 km from Champapukur railway station and 1 km away from main road. The above reasons are undoubtly favoured about its viability.
